SUMMAH READINNN'

I was invited to a retreat next weekend. I am abnormally excited. I need that spiritual umph right now! I know God is always with me, but sometimes he feels a little tiny bit distant especially recently. I think this will be the perfect opportunity. Joaquin had chemotherapy yesterday. They up'd his dosage on all meds, meaning he will lose his hair again. That's the WORSE. Its an exterior display, of his interior state. Im just hoping its not as bad as the last time.


I finally finished a book! I read A Million Little Pieces by James Frey. It was AMAZING! I had actually started it awhile ago but got busy with school, so I wasnt able to finish it, but I finally had time to read again and finished it! I think I am more of a Non-Fiction type of gal. I like those sadish/based-on-true-events books. When I used to read a loot more in hs, I read all the Ellen Hopkin Books. If you are interested, start with CRANK. You have to kind of like those sadish stories to enjoy it though. OH and I also really liked Go Ask Alice.


My friend let me borrow Message in A Bottle by Nicholas Sparks, but I am a little bit skeptical about reading it just because I did not like The Notebook :/ We'll see. I want to read A Piece of Cake. It's supposed to be like the book A Child Called It. Maybe ill read it before Message in a bottle :)
