So I finally got it done and I Love it! I could not be happier, every time I look at it (only when i go to pee cause i cant wear shorts cause my mom will see it hehe) im like, wait...is that really on me!?? and its the first tattoo on me that is actually a piece of art. Makes it a little more special :). I think the thought of actually just going through with it for about 6-7 hours is a great experience in itself!
So on the pain scale I give it a 6.5 out of 10. I like to describe it more of like a really really bad scratch someone keeps giving you and its burning, kinda like an intense rug burn. The rib piece was more of a 9.5 out of 10. Where it felt like hot flaming needles were going in and out of the most sensitive spot on your body for 5 hours. Now THAT was cringe worthy! Probably one of the most painful things I have experienced. It didnt help that Mark, the artist who did the rosary was VERY rough and wiped, tugged and pulled VERY hard. Mike was super gentle and even put on the creams and would clean it with a gentle hand. Much nicer experience :). I had an audience too! My friends came down and totally rooted me on :). I don't think anyone should go through a tattoo alone. It definitely makes a difference to have some sort of support.
I had a hard time sleeping though! I was soo exhausted that I just psyched myself out and slept through it. When I woke up there was a stream of gooyness tattoo ink/blood all the way down my leg. and i mean ALOT like someone poured something brownish red down my leg! hahaha! Cleaning this morning was pretty...ummm...different? Haha! it hurt not going to lie. It feels like an open wound. Well I guess technically it is! Its pretty sore kinda feels like a giant bruise too but I don't mind it is worth it :). FYI it has a red tint to the tattoo ink, but he said once it heals it'll be a nice soft gray.

So that concludes my tattoo tale :). Im planning to get roses right below her to kind of give the bottom of her gown a nice framing. Sort of like this:

K so here is me leaving you a comment...First of all your tat came out great!!! I think am in love with ur tat artist, Mike lol Secondly, you SHOULD get the roses under but i think you should get the roses facing up so the Vergin Mary would look as if she is coming out of a cloud of flowers and by creating that shading at the bottom of the flower it will give the whole image that extra touch of it being realistic to some extent. Anywho, one day Ill join the ta club and have Mike gentale touch rubing me softly...one day haha:)
