Dear John,

Hello Kids, I went to see Dear John this weekend, and it was ehhh. Im realizing that Romantic films are just not my cup of tea. I mean its just toooo cheesy for my liking. Every time I see a romantic movie, im waiting for like a scary monster or some kind of explosion to occur, and of course that never seems to happen.

I think im just pessimistic on the idea of 'love' and it being this perfect heavenly sent image where a man and a women meet and its pretty much 'love at first sight'.
I think love happens progressively, not like im speaking from experience, but I do think this love concept gradually happens over time between a girl and a boy. Its not like in the movies, where you see a hot stud walking down the street and your like BAM! thats my future husband. hehe. 'nuff about love, off to get my haircut :] Bowling tonight with the girlies.
(At least their is a cutie in the movie :])

Your reasong for not liking romantic movies is my reason for liking them! Love like that doesnt exist in the real world, but for those two hours it does. For two hours its possible to fall in love at first sight, or to beat all the odds and make it last, or all the other crazy things that happen in those movies.
